Pack 166 extends a sincere THANK YOU  to Walter and Lee Teeter, Rob and Dena Younts and the entire Soaring Hawk patrol for their generous donations to the Derby track fund. This year we introduced our new 4 lane aluminum track with new MicroWizard timer and Derbymaster software. There is no way that the Pack could have purchased such a first class setup without these folks help.

We also want to thank James Williams and Piedmont Bank for their sponsorship of our Race this year. These funds will cover the Derby car kits we gave our boys last month.

Now for the race! Due to the snowy weather the race was delayed for one hour, but things heated up very quickly once the racing began.

We had a total of 45 highly tuned racing machines in the competition. This years race was the tightest in Pack history, after a total of 13 rounds the winners time was 38.805 seconds with second place at 38.8820. Cody in third posted a total time of 39.158. It's a good thing that we invested in the new timer, last years only went two decimal places. Great job guys.

Congratulations to our Pack Derby winners! In first place was Michael, second to Eric and third goes to Cody. On to District!!
