Williams (704-437-6605) One

We will
meet for breakfast at 7:00 AM at the Golden Corral Restaurant in Mooresville. We plan to arrive at Zaloo's before 10:00
AM. We will have reserved canoes for Cub Scout Pack 166 and
families. This is a family event, bring all the kids. You will need
to pay Cub Scout Pack 166 $37.08 per canoe. The staff at Zaloo's will provide

This will
be a 5 mile trip. We will stop at the New River State Park. Please pack your own snacks
and drinks, be sure that it is in waterproof packaging and can be
secured to your canoe. You will get wet and your canoe may tip
over!!! Most of the paddling will be to simply guide or turn the

swimming.
Please do
not wear white clothing. While the water is fresh, the minerals will
stain your clothes plus when your white pants get wet we will all
see your scoby doo drawers. DO NOT DRINK THE WATER.
Zaloo's has
changing rooms, be sure to bring a change of clothes for dinner and
the ride home. You will be soaked from the canoe trip. Be sure to
bring your water gun.
After the
canoe trip, you may leave for Mooresville, however there is a very
good restaurant named Shatley Springs. This is an all-you-can-eat
